Chris Barlow

Chris is the founder of the Big Blue Ocean Group of companies. He is on the board of the Big Blue Ocean’s investment company, family office and foundation.

Chris has extensive experience in retail, property development, and investment management. He has successfully established, managed, and governed thriving businesses across each of these industries. Throughout his career, Chris has maintained a strong interest in marketing. In this capacity, he played a key role in the growth of 7-Eleven in Australia, helping expand the business from 150 to over 700 stores. Additionally, Chris managed an extensive commercial property portfolio and remains active in the residential property industry. Chris has a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne University.

As Co-Founder of the Big Blue Ocean Foundation, Chris collaborates with charities worldwide to implement programs aimed at repairing and protecting the environment. He is also actively involved in the Big Blue Ocean Group’s investment management business, which focuses on growing its portfolio to secure the financial future for many generations.​
